PAPAROA COAL WINERS OUT.
The miners employed at the'Pnparoa Mine (lid not commence work yesterday morning. We ascertain that the cause is through a misinterpretation by the Manager, Mr. J. Ray no and the miners of a clause in the Coal Mines Act. Tho Factory Inspector (Mr. Fielder) visited the'mine yesterday a»d beard tho complaint Mr. Newton, Inspector of Alines, was also a visitor to the mine. It is mooted that a compromise : s likely and that the work af the •mine will be resumed on normal conditions perhaps on Monday.
