Air. C. Toohey was advised to-day that his son Private C. Toohey, was wounded on October 4 th. in France.

Tlie committee of the local band waited on Air. E. Richards last evening with a request from the band that he should allow himself to bo appointed conductor of the Band until vne return of Air. Ross.
