Deserted by her brothers.slie dons newsboy’s trousers and fights for a corner position, and judging by the nll-m go Enid Bennett’s Australian blood must have got up by the vim she puts into the struggle. She wins the newsboy's corner and attracts the notice of a rich young bachelor who sends lier to college?. From this she blossoms into a, sweet young girl gradually covered with honours, until she blossoms into a ravishingly beautiful, woman swayed by the passion of life The rest, of the story is a strong drama in which the young actress displays great power. The photography, is particularly good, the closing scenes with clever shadow effects in the burglar scone being a work of art. “Her Vow .Fulfilled/’ the tf'tli chapter of “ Gloria’s Romance ” tells of .the confession of Gideon Trask, and the vanishing of the last doubt front Gloria of her dead lover’s perfidy.
