Mr Gardiner Wilson, of Camerons, has generously donated a ’Xmas lamb for the first gent’s prize at the otic tournament to be held in the Literary Inistituto tomorrow evening. The tournament is in aid of the* Bed Cross Fund, not in aid of the Literary Institute as previously stated in my report in Monday’s issue. Mr Rochford, manager of water races, was on the scene’ to-day, and from whatoan be ascertained, repairs will bo effected in a few days.
