After TaitersnU’s meeting at Randwick yesterday the tea house in tho paddock was destroyed by fire. Damage is estimated at £BOOO.

Mr Cook has officially announced that, mine-sweepers from Sydeny exploded a submarine mine of enemy origin off Cape Gabo on Wednesday. (Cape Gabo, not for from Melbourne, is passed by vessels en route between that port and Sydney.
