MORE DISCOVERIES.
ON VICTORIAN COAST.
(Received this dav at 1.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Further mines have been discovered on the Australian coast. Mr. Cook announced that mine-swee-pers operations had revealed a minefield five miles south of Gabo Island, which had been laid in deep water in an open situation. Probably some had dragged from Itiheir original positions. Long operations were necessary to ensure that all were destroyed. Mr. Cook warns shipping that thero is no danger provided masters carefully adhere to their route orders.
