AGAINST THE ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES. NELSON, Oct. 16

At a meeting of electors at Alotucka it was resolved to protest- to the Boundary Commissioners against the alteration in the name of the electorate and the new boundaries. The Mayor (Air AVallaeo) said the electors had a right to protest against t.he electorate being altered to the name of BuUe.r. Alotucka was tho only municipality and had always been the centre. It had to bo considered nom an advertising point- of view that tho name was of great importance to the development of the district, and “therefore a strong protest, should he made against the loss of the name of Motneka. Mr C. R. Foil, Nelson, said tint only reason he could sec for the change was that the alteration of the name to Bniler was out of compliment to Air Colvirl, who was one of the fathers of the House.
