The Chinese Government replying to the Entente, thanks them for the postponement of payment of Boxer indemnity and promises to give facilities for unlimited supplies fo the allies and for recruiting skilled labour. Tln-y will observe the strictest control oi enemy subjects und prohibit trading with the enemy, and permit posts vacated in the Government service to be filled by the Allies. Internal disturbances will be quelled allowing Allied commerce to proceed without interruption. Enemy shipping will be reehart e red bv the Chinese.

The Russian delegates to the InterAllied Conference nt Paris will seek an understanding with the 'Allies on the subject of principles proclaimed by the Russian Revolution. They include special delegates enjoying the. confidence of the democratic organisation. Government will exert their whole strength in support of the Allied cause, to eject the enomy from Russia nfid restore the fighting strength of the Anny.
