The State Dcnartment has published cablegrams to Count Bernstorff revealing that Germany in 1916, proposed destroying the Canadian-Pacific Railway and Sabotage in United States. The plot was instigated by Roger Casement. moreThsclosur.es. (Received this day at 1.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON October 10. The State Department has published telegrams of Count Bornstorff’s on January 3rd. 1916 —“Secret. General Staff desires energetic notion for destruction of Canadian-Pacific at several points, in ordc to completely interrupt traffic. Captain Boehem has been instructed to inform Military Attache to provide necessary funds. (Sigm-’ ' merman.” January 22nd. Obtain particular persons suitable for carrying out sabotage United States and Canada from following. Then follow three names including.. Jeremiah O'Leary, New York who is described as reliable, but always discreet. These persons wore indicated by Roger Casement. The cable continues that sabotage can be carried out in every kind or munition factory hut the Embassy must not, under an circumstances he
