[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. COPYRIGHT.] THE HOUSE. WEIAINGTON, Oct. 8. The House met at 7.30 p.m. MOTION OF SYMPATHY. After the transaction of formal business, Hon. W. F. Massey moved the customary resolution of sympathy with the family of the late Hon J. D. Ormond, which was supported by Sir •Joseph Ward, Sir John Findlay, Dr. Newman and Mr Jennings.
At 8.20 p.m., the House adjourned out of respect of deceased.
