Tho Borough of Brunnorton is to be excluded from the Westland electorateThe Otira line district remains in the Westland area. i GREY. | Tho Grey electorate takes in, Cob-' den, Brunnerton Borough, and the Grey county north of the Grey river, i It is arranged so that the coal mining ' districts of the West Coast are all in- ! eluded to thi s electorate. * Tho Borough of Westport, and tho collieries of Denniston, Granity, Beddonvillo, and the State collieries R-unanga as well as Blackball district are included in the Grey electorate 1 which runs mainly along the sea coast, j BULLER. j The Buller electorate takes in Reef- 1 ton town and Inangahua County and ! then runs inland up to Cape Farewell, i taking most of tlio Motuoktt so&t which , is eliminated in the new arrangements. I THE MEMBERS. J The sitting members for tho districts affected are:—Mr. T. E. Y. Reddon (Liberal), Westland; Mr. P. C. I Webb (Labour), Grey; Mr. Jas. Colvin, (Liberal), Buller; and Mr. -R. P. Hudson, (Reform), Motueka. It- is currently reported that Mr. Colvin will not bo a candidate for the general election, it which case it is almost certain that respected and popular member will be elevated to the Legislative Council. With Mr. Oolvin thus accounted for. Mr. Webb would bo tho aspiring representative for the coal miners constituency on tho West Coast. It is assumed that Air. P. R. Hudson will be again a candidate and will stand' for the new Buller district. This area comprises portions of Westland, Grov, Buller and so it, may he considered an area of varying in- ’ terests of widely divergent political . thought.
