In connection with the accident on tlso Monowai at Auckland to men who were injured through the bursting of a sulphuric acid drum, six actions am being commenced against Rosonhain and Coy., mid their agents, Wisober and Coy. for damages. The total claims amount to £B,OOO. The proceedings were commenced in Melbourne and a commission will ho appointed shortly to take evidence in Auckland.' EUNICE’S BACK BROKEN. WANGANUI, Sept, 27.
