The Admiralty reports that naval aircraft dropped many bombs on Sparappelhook aerodrome at noon on Tuesday. Several direct hits are reported Naval forces combated the naval establishments at Ostend in the afternoon and secured several hits on the marine, workshops. THE AIR RAID. r“ REUTER’S” TELEGRAM.] LONDON, Sept, 25. Official: Aeroplanes crossed the Kent and Essex coasts at various points this evening. A few bombs were dropped. One raider penetrated as far as the south-eastern outskirts of London. Two bombs caused 20 casualties.

Tho Press Bureau reports that gunfire was turned on the first group of raiders approaching London last night, only two penetrating the defences. These dropped a number of bombs in the south-eastern outskirts of London, damaged some dwelling houses and injured sixteen. A second group of raiders .were driven of!' before reaching London. They dropped bombs on the south-east, of England, but there are no casualties or damage yet reported. REPRISALS URGED. Hie Daily Chronicle insists on the necessity of an aerial offensive, carrying the- war into the enemy’s land [and forcing the Germans to retain a serious .proportion of their aviatorto guard German towns.
