THE PAPAL ATTITUDE. [per PRESS ASSOCIATION. —OOrYRIGHT.J ROME, September 25. Turkey’s and Bulgaria’s reply to the Pope ore similar in form and substance to the Austrian and Goiman. Vatican advises states that the Central Powers replies only partially correspond with the substance sent to the Pope beforehand, notably the sections dealing with territorial problems. They have apparently been depleted before publication under military pressure. A Milan paper says that the Pope will shortly enquire verbally at Berlin for replies to his proposals relating to Poland and Belgium plso Alsace and Lorraine. ANOTHER PEACE FEELER. Tho New York Sun’s Rome correspondent says the Pope’s new appeal reveals that thte terms obtained from (German and [Austria represent Jthnt the Teuton replies are intended for home consumption. The German offers include a change of Government, thus meeting President Wilson’s view.
