FOUND DFAD. NAPIER, Sep. 21. A Maori, aged about thirty-six, was found dead in a: house at Port Ahuriri this morning, hanging from the stairs by a neckerchief. The deceased war, believed to have conic from Opotiki, and was known locally as George. The appearance of the body suggests that he had been dead for three days, lie left a note saving be intended to take his life owing to ill-health.
