At Wellington on Friday, Solomon Gordon, a picture framer, was fined £5 for exhibiting in his shop window a photograph ol a nude woman. Tho Magistrate observed that it had been held by a London magistrate that a picture permissible for exhibition m an art gallery may bo indecent if shown in a shop window, because of the influence on the young and immature.
