MORE WOUNDED SOLDI MRS. ARRIVE AT AUCKLAND. [l-ntt Pit ESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT.] AUCKLAND, Sept. 2-1. A contingent of 2.32 soldiers and two nurses, arrived at Auckland to-day. Twenty-four of- the officers are returning on duty hut the reinaiiulcr of the contingent has been invalided hack. The ports of destination are:—Auckland, throe officers and G 8 men: Wellington 22 officers and 72 men, and two nurses. Lyttelton 1 officer and 2G men; Port Chalmers 39 men. ( There are four Military Medalists. Lieut. Hugh Perkins. Christchurch won his while in the ranks; Bombardier William Brown, Dunedin ; Sergt. Edward Fox. Auckland. The D.C..M. is held by Sergt. Two of the oflieers and one private were recalled by the authorities for munitions work. The southerners will leave by special trian at 10 o’clock to-night.
