OSTEXD SHELLED. TAUSTRALIAN cC N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION] LONDON, Sept. 23. German official: An English monitor bombarded Ostend and struck the cathedral, killing seven and wounding 24 Belgians. The coastal batteries drove off the monitor. We repulsed strong attacks south-east of St. Julien and drove out the English who had penetrated our trenches south-east of Arras.
