THE SOUTH MAILS.
DELAYED liY FLOODS. The Chief Postmaster advised this morning that last Wednesday's mail for South Westland is still at Ross, the coaches being unable to leave owing to the flooded state of the rivers. He also reported that a big slip had come down oil the South Road about half a mile north of Wataroa.
