These were the aims oi France, and long as these were not attained France would continue to light.
Co-ordination was necessary among the Allies who must act as il they were a tangle* nation witli a single army on a single front. All must equally -'(foiltribute. ’ men, arms and money. Only, on this condition would their sunorior forces become crushing gneli a uolicy would allow France, without exhausting hcrsell, to meet her economic and military need;;. Referring to after-tlie-war problems the Premier said that'’ France would have to restore tho reconquered districts, regulate the return ot the soldiers to normal life, avoiding a crisis of unemployment, increase her production and national credit, establish a fiscal system on just and bold lines, and embody as part of lier social life the reforms recently introduced between workmen and employers.
