After the public, farewell the men will bo entertained at supper at the Overseas Club and 'in 'the Soldiers Room an enlarged photograph of Sergeant Frickloton V.O. will be unveiled. The Lady Liverpool Commttiee will supply the men with parcels of camp comforts.

The people of Hokitika and surrounding districts will bo pleased to know that Dowell Bros, of Rovell Street are starting a motor service to run from Otira to Hokitika and vice versa. They have arranged with their agent (Mr, T. Rugg) to book for them at Christchurch and passengers wishing to avert stopping at Greymoutli over-night can arrive in Hokitika the same time as the express does at Greymouth. A enr will leave Hokitika on Saturday morning to -connect with the overland coaches at Otira. Fares will be £l, single. Rooking with Dowell Bros. Hokitika or T.
