ROI& or irONyR. ACKERS. —In roving memory of our dear brother, Rifleman E. L. Ackers, • who was killed in action in France on September 15th, 191 G; aged 27 years. Ho marched away so bravely, His young bead proudly held, His footsteps never faltered, His courage never failed. Then on the field of battle He fought and died for Britain, And the honor of the his race. He little thought when leaving homo That ho would never return. But now ho lies in a lonely grace, And we are loft to mourn. Sleep on dear Ted in a far off grave, A grave wo may never see, But as long as life and memory last ■\Vo will remember thee.
