LONDON. Sept. sth The Press Bureau reports that the Irish Convention met at the City Hall at Belfast, and continued consideration of the draft schemes based on the Dominions principle of self Government.

G ERMAN—SWISS EXPORTS'. BERNE, September 5. The German-Swiss Agreement lias been ratified. Germany persists in the export to Switzerland of 200,000 tons of coal, and 19,000 tons of iron and steel monthly; also sugar seed corn. zinc, and benzine. Switzerland allows the, export- of 10,000 cattle to IGWinnny.

The annual report of the New Zealand Soldiers 1 Club states that tile institution has supplied! soldiers with 250,000 meals and 65,000 beds. Sir Thomas Mackenzie paid a tribute to tbe. far-reaching good the club was doing and appealed for tbe fullest support of tlie people of Now Zealand Mon on leave from the front were met at the railways and brought to the dub, where every care and comfort was provided. General Richardson said that the Now Zealanders described the club as the best.

r.W.W. PREMISES RAIDED. NEW YORK, Sept. 8

Federal agents simultaneously raided T.W.W. headquarters in a score of American cities, seizing literature and closing the premises. This is part ot a huge drive to stop pro-German activity.
