IN MOSQUITO FLEET
WELLINGTON, September 7. Another strike is threatened in the mosquito fleet. Tlie dispute is over the interpretation of the agreement ns to the number of men to compose a watch Three boats have sent in notice and will not sail to-night.
A SCHOOL BURNT
WANGANUI, Sept 7
Queen’s Park School, one of the principal State schools in the town was practically destroyed by five at midday. It is a holiday week and the origin of the outbreak is a mystery. The fire had a strong hold when discovered. Insurances total £I,OOO besides which tho Department takes a risk over the oldest portion of the building.
