FRENCH OPERATIONS
(Received this day at 1.30 p.m.l A French communiquo says our batteries in Champagne aro dominating the enemy artillery, which is particularly violent in the sectors of Butte du Mesnil, and Mam de Massignes. W r e vigorously shelled the enemy front lino preventing any attack. Tho enemy bombed Dunkirk wounding civilians. French aeroplanes bombed the aerodrome, railway station and many bivouacs.
