A. ship that has arrived at Tyne, picked up six German war prisoners in a boat at sea. It is believed that the Germans are among those who recently escaped from camps in Britain. Tho Labour Congress division was an question of the Committee’s report cabled yesterday. Mr. Smellio proposing tho adoption affirmed that tho Labour Party was almost rout in twain by the Stockholm question. The Committee’s rooommondation amounted to a compromise, with a view to securing unity. The great need of tho moment was a close relationship of the Labour of Allied nations. However, Labour’s voico must bo hoard in the peace settlement. Mr. Havelock Wilson reiterated that tho seamen would never carry delegates to Stockholm.
