Among those who returned by a recent liospita] ship from England is Private A. K. Henderson of Kanieri, suffering from rheumatic fever. The patient is being sent to Hamner tor Sanatorium In answer to a suggestion from Mr. Webb in the House of Representatives that lights in prisons' should be extended to conduct prisoners from Bp.m. to 9 p.m., the Hon. J. A. Hannan stated that revised regulations were now in the hands of the Law Department , Meantime, General orders had been is sued, and extended lighting would be , given to certain class of offenders. He, > could not say at present to what ex- [ tent but concessions were to bo made r to certain prisoners.
