It is impossible to read official appeals for support to the Liberty War Loan without recognising the dixeafc Invitation to the small investor to participate in the duty of helping bis country For that reason there is no part of the Dominion where the loan should hot l)o favourably ■ received, all parts should in shelling the' total which is to be announced when theloan finally closes on Monday next. The" money Is urgently required to moot national charges in respect to war work. New Zealand must pay her soldier#, jaust equip them, must feed them, must transport them, must supply them with munitions. All this takes money and more money, and it would never do to see our soldiers going short of pay, equipment, food, transport, or munitions. There is another reason why the appeal must reach every part of the Dominion. By this time there is not a district in the country which, has not its representative in the Expeditionary Force and so every little community must he interested in seeing that its men are well cared for, equipped and provided with the implements of warfare for the*- own protection as for national defence. The small investor should, therefore, make himself or herself acquainted with the conditions of the loan, and find out how he or she can help. A visit to the nearest post office will result in full particulars of the certificate’s scheme being explained, or the post office order bonds made clear. Big, little, great or small can help the Liberty War Loan ( and it is clearly the interest of one and all to do so.
