aNNL’AL MEETING. The thirteenth annual meeting of the above .Society was hold at- the office of Win. Jeffries and Coy,, Sewell Street, >n Saturday night, Mr. H. L. Michel 'Chairman of .Directors) presiding. 1-liere was a small attendance of shareholders. The following report was received at)in tlie Chairman. I have pleasuer in presenting to you, >n. behalf of the Directors, the Thirteenth Annual Report and Balance 'licet of the Society. During the year, he sum of £3OO was appropriated by ballot.
Profit and Loss Account stands at 0701 12s. Id, practically the same as hist year. Owing to the number of withdrawals, and Shareholders being so much in arrears, the amount available "or loan purposes lias „ been somewhat restricted. . Air. D. J‘. Evans and’ Dr. K. Teiehelniaun are the retiring Directors,, and offer themselves lor re election. Ml. \. 11. King. Auditor, retires, and is digihle for re-election. The Ghairman moved the adoption of tin* report and balance sheet which had- been circulated among members, uni explained the financial position oft the. Society. Mr. T. Orr seconded the motion which was carriedi. The two retiring directors and the auditor were re-elected without opposition. The .sale- of an appropriation of £3OO was adjourned for a week. The meeting then terminated.
