The Provisional Government has decided that tlie Moscow conference cannot have decisive results as its object, is merely to acquaint the people’s representatives with the Government’s views on the political situation.

Received this day at 2.36 p.m.,) PETROGRAD,. Aug. 26. A Moscow corespondent says the Maximilists tried to wreck (General Korniloff’s train. A preliminary conference of all parties resolutioned demanding a new Government, free of wild-cat schemes and not subordinated to committees.
