POLLARD’S PICTURE*.
On Monday evening next at the Princess Theatre, Pollards Pictures will screen the powerful 5-act World Film’s drama, “The Railrider,”, featuring House Peters and Zena Keefe in the leading roles. Jim Eewis, engineer, is delegated to protest against the tyranny of Barker, the railroad president. Arriving in New York he calls at Barker’s house, where much to his surprise he is well treated. He becomes enamoured of the president’s daughter Mildred, and invited to spend the evening he forgets his mission. Next morning he calls at the company’s office to find that the general manager has skipped with valuable securities. To-make amends for his former act of carelessness, lie determines to trail the fugitive. He does so and after many exciting adventures he captures his man and returns with the stolen money. There are many exciting struggles in _ the closing scenes and a fine exhibition of nerve and daring.
