An interesting notice dealing with the Liberty War Loan appears, in this issue. Rimu No. 1. drodge washed up today for u return of 30 ozs for S days dredging. During tho hearing of a licensing charge at the Magistrate's Court this morning, counsel in explaining the effects of liquor said that if beer was first taken and then whisky there was not much chanco of drunkenness, but if whisky was first taken and then beer the result was certain drunkenness.
