KNOCKED DOWN BY A TRAP.
CHRISTCHURCH August 20. A man named George Mission, when alighting from a-tramcar near the racecourse on Saturday was knocked down by a horse and trap, which came up behind him, alongside tho car. He was takon to the hospital where it was found that his shoulder was dislocated. FOUND HANGED. CHRISTCHURCH, August 20. At Pleasant 'Va'lley on Thursday, Austin Finn, a farmer aged thirty-r was found hanged. Ho had been in ill-health for some two months past. At tho inquest a verdict of suicide whilst in unsound mind was returned. A VETERAN MISSIONARY DEAD. DUNEDIN, Aug. 20. Tho death is announced, nt the ago of ninety-four, of the Rev. William Ronaldson, well-known throughout the Dominion, and formerly grand secretary of the Freemasons. Tho deceased came to New Zealand in 1858 ns missionary to the Wairarapa Maoris.
