ATTACKS on hospitals.

f (Received This T)nv at 12.25. p.m.l I PARIS, August 22. Infuriated with the defence of Ver- , dun, the Germans have done a freau and in excusable crime. Aeroplanes with incendiary . bombs ♦ get fire to three French hospitals, full of wounded and machine-gunned the medicals were rescuing the patients. The victims indudo seventeen medicals and seven wounded, killed, and , thirty-five injured. A Red Cross Nurse .and a male nurse were also killed. There was no panic. The woundeds able to walk assisted their comrades. Although the Pved Crosses on the roofs were plainly visible in the glare of the buildings the Germans returned and bombed a third time.
