AUCKLAND DEFEAT WELLINGTON
WELLINGTON, Aug. IS
A representative match was played at the Domain this afternoon between Wellington and Auckland players under 20 years of ago. The weather was threatening and after half-time drizzling rain made the ball, greasy and tho ground treacherous. There was a largo crowd of spectators and considerable enthusiasm was shown. The result was a win for Auckland by 12 points to nil, and the score being made up of three tries and one penalty goal. The game was more even than the score indicates and Wellington were often unlucky.
