HAIG’S REPORT.
LONDON, Aug. 19
General Ilaig reports we captured trenches in the neighbourhood of i Gulleinont Farm, south-east of Epeliy. ' We raided positions south-westward of ! Havricourt and inflicted heavy cnsual- ■ ties. Enemy aircraft on Thursday and Friday nights bombed tho British casualty clou ring stations and killed ten wounded the German prisoners and rewounding 9 Germans. A FRENCH REPORT. LONDON, Aug. 19 A French communique reports lively artillery duelling on both banks of the Meuse in Bois lo Potre, cast of Badonvillors and north of theso places. Consecutive enemy attacks were repelled with appreciable losses.
