If the Swiss Governments defends the police, diplomatic complications are expected. It is well known that a number ol Swiss newspapers are openly -supporting Germany, more strongly than the “Freie Zcitimg.” which defends the Allies and America. If the Swiss Government gives a free hand to pro-Ger-man comments and suppresses pfoAmeriean,' Switzerland's neutrality will he questioned.
