POLLARD’S PICTURES. AY. S. HART.

A great and glorious yarn, manly in spirit and full of rapid action with the breezy actor, AV. S. Hart, in the leading role sums up the Triangle AA’estem drama, “Truthful Tolliver,” the star attractiin on Thursday (tomorriw) evening by Pollnrtl’s Pictures in the Princess. Theatre. Western drama was at a low ebb when Dart joined the Triangle Company, but be has lifted it up, and it now ranks with the best of the Triangle Productions. In the plot, of “Truthful Tulliver there is a double love story running through tlie play and two charming adtresses in “Alma Reubens” and •‘Nina Byron” are featured in leading roles. AA', S’. Hart as the editor of tlie “Glory Hole. Nugget” lias a character altogether new. His recommendations for the position of editor are: a determination to tell the truth, great ability for the lassoo, first class uursemanship, and two grim six-sliooters. AA’ith these latter articles be is willing and anxious to back up liis opinions. There- are some terrific scenes when the conflict between Hart and tlie evil elements of tlie town reaches its height. Included in tho display is “Tangled Threads,” • the Tenth Chapter of.“ Gloria’s Romance.” . This chapter shows “Gloria” (Billie Burlce) discovering “Freneau’s” faithlessness nau the grea't woman’s sorrow that shakes her whole being, when is forced fro*, her the cry: “He was false to me, and I loved him so.”

NEXT WEEK’S BTG BAZAAR

On Thursday and Friday of next week Princess Theatre wall bo the special attraction for the town and country folk. On the two nights a monster sale of work will be in progress for the benefit of the Returned Soldiers’ Association and the patriotic work carried on by the Overseas Club. There are to be seven principal stalls including three to be run by the teachers and pupils of Victoria School, and an oilds and ends stall conducted by the Returned Soldiers themselves. The sewing and fancy work stalls, as well as tlie refreshment stall, will be ' conducted by the ladies of the Overseas Club. On the two evenings the sale of work is in progress, special entertainments will be given. The first night will bo provided by the Overseas Orchestra, and on the second niglit the pupils of Woodstock school, under Miss Nancekivejl will be responsible for the entertainment. An energetic committoe has tho preparations in hand, and the function should prove a pronounced success. The funds will be devoted to tlie Soldiers Club Rooms, which it is hoped to have ready for the return of the Alain Body when back on leave.
