THE WAR LOAN.

THE TERMS OF ISSUE

In tliis issue is published the prospectus of the War Loan of Twelve Millions at 4] per cent. The war loan will be issued in denominations of £IOO, £SOO, and £IOOO or such higher sums as may be arranged, and will be payable to the bearer.

The loan will he for a term of twenty-one years, and interest on bonds and stock will be mid lialfvearlv.

Post-Office war bonds, having a currency of ten years will also be issued for amounts of £IOO, bearing interest at five per cent, not free from income tax. No one applicant may, however, hold more than five such bonds totalling £SOO in value, these bonds being intended for persons of small means who prefer interest half-yoarly and do not wish to accumulate, as in war loan certificates. Payment of these post office bonds may be made at a moneyorder office.

Applications close on September 3rd 1917.'
