It- is reported that the" German subninrino losses are increasing. At least twonty-firo were missing duirng July, several of which wero admittedly destroyed.
A Swiss despatch from Germany states that the campaign will bo stopped after Novemlver, the Entente an-ti-submarine measures making winter operations impossible. THBiiu AUSTRIANS SUNK. ITALIAN AIRMEN’S SUCCESS. ROME, Aug. 7. Italian arocplanes sank three submarines undergoing repairs at Pola. SPANISH BOAT SUNK. GREAT INDIGNATION AROUSED MADRID, Aug. 7. A German submarine sank another Spanish fishing beat. Four of the crew were wounded. Great indignation has been aroused. SAFETY OF HOSPITAL SHIPS. Madrid, Aug. 8. The “Heraldo’’ states that Britain and France, in accepting the German Government's agreenent for the safe conduct of hospital ships, thanked Spain for her humane intervention. Eleven naval officers are proceeding to various ports indicated by tho Allies.
