The story tells of “Lila Despnrd,” an adventuress, and her endeavours to entrap a young man that ends in’her falling desperately in love with him. As t-hp adventuress, Kitty Gordon (Lady Beresford), one of the most beautiful women on the stage and a famous English actress, is seen. to. great advantage. She is described as wearing the most ravishing gowns and marvellous furs ever screened. and having a gown for every hundred feet of film. The story 'is a sensational one, and the interest being well sustained throughout. “Dollars and Sense, the 2000 feet Keystone merry-maker, is the usual quick-gov'*; smart actioned farce that provides >\ hearty laugh for all.
