The New York “Times” Washington correspondent says the Japanese mission to America expects to reach a fundamental understanding with America regarding the status of the Pacific Islands seized and now occupied by Japan.

As a consequence of the German arrsots in Poland, PLld.zuki the Commander of the Polish Legion and all officers have resigned.
The Germans gave a 1 day’H consideration and threatened to arrest and deport all who insisted, and now they are gaoled.
