ADJUSTMENT OF CLAIMS. WELLINGTON, July 27th

When tho Tokomaru was torpedoed by the Germans on her voyage Home in 1914 she carried 461 carcases of frozen mutton, a. donation from the New Zealand Branch of flic Poor of Great Britain and Ireland and Belgium Relief Fund, to be used for the relief of British and Belgian people who were in distress. Tho meat- was not insured, and the general secretary of the fund (Mr. R. W. Siiallerass) was duly informed of that position by the New Zealand High Commissioner. Now b«. news has come to liand.
