NEILSON, July 27. t As a sequel to a meeting held last night a largo deputation of Anglican clergy and laity waited on Bishop Saa- < lier to-day and congratulated hlim on his election to the Bishopric of Gippsland, at the same time expressing then earnest hope that ho would remain ; this diocese. The Bishop has acceded to the request and has canted declining nomination to Gippsland.
