The “New York Times” Washington correspondent states an official import has been received at Washington, that Germany has completed a small number of submarines capable of submerging to 200 feet'. This achievementwill add to the submarine problem, as this typo of submersible would bo able to div© under nets. It is believed that this is partly the cause of Germany’s frantic endeavour to prevent the bott* ing of the “U” boats in the Baltic and elsewhere. .
