ROLL OF HONOUR.
Mrs Duncraft of Boaloy Street has been advised that her son Private A. J. Duncraft was wounded on 6th July (the second time) in France. He left with the 9th Reinforcements. Mr. J. McGinloy orf Groymouth was advised yesterday of the death of his eldest son, Private J limes McGinley, who was accidentally killed on 3rd July. Deceased was 22 years of age. He en- i listed with 21st Reinforcements from I Wanganui, where he was employed in I the Pcblic Trust Office. Mrs. R. Herring of Hall Street was advised yesterday by tho Minister of Defence that hor so n Private Harold Herring has been killed in action in France an July Gjih. Tho deceased who wa s .about 22 years of age and a aiative of the district, was in tho employ mant of Mr. T. Stopforth when he volunteered, leaving with the 7th. Reinforcements. Mrs. Herring suffered the loss of her eldest son by drowning in Mahinnpua Creek somo three years ago.
