FOR ARREST OF DESERTERS. WELLINGTON, July 16. Authority has been given (states a District Order) for the payment of a reward n°t exceeding 20s to any member of the New Zealand police force for the apprehension of a deserter from the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. The reward will also be paid to any member of the New Zealand police fore® for the apprehension of .a deserter from concentration, if arrested on a warrant signed by a group commander. Tbo reward is not payable where the deserter voluntarily gives himself up to tho public authorities. Claim s aro to be submitted to district headquarters for pre-audit prior to payment.
