The Admiralty report -that on Monday a number of German merchantmen were sighted in the North Sea. Disregarding the signals they made off in the direction of the Dutch ooast. Two reached the shore badly damaged by gunfire four others were captured the-two crews escaping while the others were being made prisoners.
