(Per Press Association.—Copyright.) CHANGING THE TUNE. BRITISH CAPTURE FOUR GERMAN STEAMERS. (Receivod, This Day at 8.50. a.m.) LONDON, July 17. British destroyers have captured four German steamers in the North* Sea. PARTICULARS OF THE AFFAIR. WELLINGTON. This Day. The High Commissioner reports from London on 17th. July at 3 p.miu. The Admiralty report -that on Monday a number of German merchantmen were sighted in the North Sea. Disregarding the signals they made off in the direction of the Dutch ooast. Two reached the shore badly damaged by gunfire four others were captured the-two crews escaping while the others were being made prisoners. The ships captured were th© “Pellworm,” Drjetzig,” ‘ ‘Mariehorn* ’ and “Heirrblymberp.” :
