Tlie annual mooting of tlio shareholders of tho Kokatahi Co-operative Dairy Co., wafe hold on Saturday in the Public Hall at Kokatahi. The annual report and Balance Sheet was read and adopted. Of the t-ivo retiring Directors Messrs. Amberger and Cropp, tlio latter owing to his not being a prospective supplier during the incoming season, (ltd not seek reeled ion. Messrs Amberger and Little wore appointed to the vacancies, and Mr. Clarke was again re-appointed auditor. A lengthy discussion look place on the question of a half-penny increase per Ih on butter fat being paid to those who separated at home, Mr Wool lion so championing the increase and Mr. Norman championing the opposition. A share vote taken on tlio question decided in favour of the home separators. The debate on this matter was conducted on tho most friendly terms. The Kokatahi suppliers who had become for the most part home-separa-tors, showed no inclination of installing a cheese plant; but the Koiterangi suppliers meet early in the week to consider; whether the creamery should he convert ed into a cheese factory or not. Until this meeting takes place, nothing de- ! finite will he done. ! At the meeting of the new directorate held immediately after, Mr. Jas. Fleming was elected Chairman, and Mr. j Lang Vice-chairman.'
