Sir,—While not s in any way wishing to retard the progress or development of their property, I, think at the same time that a little consideration should h,, shown to the travelling public, and .that th L . body ip power should see that those' responsible for the inconvenience [should be made to provide a footway over that portion of the road at Woodstock, where water and debris from a mining claim in the vicinity pours across the road. The roadl is impassable for at least two chains, and persons on foot, cannot pass without great trouble and inconvenience.
